As a decolonial and holistic therapist, I support clients in exploring their experiences, reconnecting with themselves, and finding healing through an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy. My work draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapies, and holistic practices that honor the connection between mind, body, identity, and relationships.
I strive to provide culturally responsive, identity-affirming care that recognizes how our lived experiences, identities, relationships, and social environments shape our well-being. I offer queer-affirming therapy and work with clients who want to explore identity, process difficult experiences, deepen self-understanding, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about creating space to understand yourself, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I believe therapy can be a process of whole-ing, healing, and remembering who you are. Together, we can work toward greater self-acceptance, meaningful connection, and a sense of wholeness that honors all parts of who you are.
Alissa is currently accepting new clients, in both Denver and Arvada, for in-person and virtual sessions. She is in-network with most insurances, including: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Carelon, and CO Medicaid.
