I embrace a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to building strong therapeutic relationships. I value creating a space where clients feel emotionally safe, deeply heard, and respected. My goal is to earn clients’ trust and co-create a supportive environment where meaningful growth can take place.

In my work with individuals, couples, and families, I help clients explore the root causes of present-day challenges, especially those connected to past experiences, relationship patterns, and survival strategies that no longer serve them. I integrate EMDR and parts-informed approaches to support clients in processing trauma, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing more secure and connected ways of relating to themselves and others.

I believe our lives are meant to include joy, connection, and a sense of purpose. Therapy can be a place to heal old wounds, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding. My hope is that our work together helps clients feel more empowered, grounded, and able to engage fully in the lives they want to live.

Iya offers low-cost sessions. She is also in-network with Medicaid.
